Our story

Grown by people who know the land.

Leading the Bentwood Farms team is President Charlie Baucom, with over 30 years of experience in the row crop and nursery industry and a lifelong passion for working with the land.

In 2017 Charlie moved his interest from row crop farming to sod, where he has been sought out for his expertise and farming know-how. Today he oversees over 4,000 acres of sod production — bringing diverse knowledge of growing not only top-quality sod, but also trees, shrubs and row crops.
